Public Housing Funding Available Soon

Minnesota Housing will soon begin accepting applications for the Publicly Owned Housing Program (POHP) Request for Proposals (RFP) to help finance rehabilitation costs for Public Housing. This round will have a priority for Public Housing that has been repositioned under the federal Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) or similar program.

In order to help assist Minnesota Housing staff anticipate incoming applications, prepare to provide technical assistance, and assess the amount of POHP funding being requested this round as well as future needs, all organizations considering applications for the upcoming 2025 POHP Appropriations Round RFP are encouraged to submit an Intent to Apply (ITA).

To submit your ITA, complete the ITA Form no later than noon Central Time on Friday, December 13, 2024.

These funds will be administered through a Publicly Owned Housing Program (POHP) Appropriations Round 2025 Request for Proposals (RFP), and application materials will be released in early 2025. Up to approximately $40.1 million will be available in one-time state appropriations.
